I'm a happy and proud mom today! Cecilia did an outstanding job at her very first cultural dance celebration. Her class (first graders) danced to the Colombian "Pollera Colorá" and she made so proud because she is so much like me (timid and shy), but she didn't let that stop her from having fun on stage in front of hundreds of people! (Something I'd have a hard time doing today, not to mention when I was a 1st grader!)
Watch for her shimmy shoulder magic at about 1:30. She surprised us all! Go Cecilia!
