The first weekend of October is always General Conference Weekend and the men have a session to attend on Saturday evening which means we get a girls night. So the girls invited their friends over for a party and we ate and played and painted toenails. I was surprised at the surge of energy in our house and the giggles and all of the chatter. From the sounds of conversation at the dinner table, I could tell that all of the girls had spent time that day watching General Conference as their discussion was focused on all things spiritual. I loved just listening in on their perspective and understanding of how choices they make now have long term, even eternal consequences.
